Christmas celebration happened on 9th December for a group of our service users. An abundance of smiles and laughter prevailed as 15 families engaged in childhood games that brought fond memories of the past.
Children were engaged through station games while parents attended a parenting workshop.
A backpack painting activity was organized for parent and child to complete collaboratively. It warmed our hearts seeing families bond, as they designed a bag together.
It was a joy for LCCS staff to share the spirit of Christmas cheer with these families.
The event ended with the families going home with presents and toys sponsored by Food from the Heart and parishioners of the church. We are grateful to Lutheran Church of our Redeemer for their participation.
